How Medbridge works
Three steps from your village to a qualified doctor.
Register with a health worker
A Community Health Worker registers you and assigns a permanent Medical Record Number.
Vitals are recorded
Your CHW measures temperature, blood pressure, pulse, and oxygen. Critical readings alert doctors instantly.
Chat with a doctor
A qualified doctor reviews your case and consults with you over text. No video, no bandwidth problems.
Everything you need, nothing you don't
Built for low-bandwidth rural connections.
Chat consultations
Text-based, so it works on any connection.
Digital prescriptions
View and download prescriptions anytime.
Community health workers
Trained CHWs bridge villages and doctors.
Emergency alerts
Critical vitals notify doctors immediately.
Medicine search
Search thousands of Bangladesh medicines.
Follow-up care
Schedule follow-ups and get reminders.
Built with health workers, for rural Bangladesh
Medbridge is not a video-call app with a medical theme. It is a path a community health worker walks with you — registering your record, taking your vitals, and staying in the loop after the doctor has replied.
Your records stay between your care team
Only the doctor and health worker looking after you can see your consultations, prescriptions, and diary entries. Nobody else.
A trained health worker is always in the loop
If you don't have a smartphone, your CHW carries the platform to you, records your vitals, and books the consultation on your behalf.
Serving rural unions and upazilas
Our partner health workers and clinics cover villages across Lakshmipur, Noakhali, Bhola, and Feni, with more districts joining.
Common questions
If something else is on your mind, our contact page has more.
Is this free?
Consultations are free for rural patients registered through a community health worker. You only pay for medicines at the pharmacy, the same as anywhere else.
What if I don't have a smartphone?
You don't need one. A community health worker visits your village, registers your record, takes your vitals, and relays the consultation for you on their device.
Who can see my health records?
Only the doctor and health worker directly involved in your care. Your information is never shared with anyone else, including other patients or providers.
What about a medical emergency?
Medbridge is not an emergency service. For a medical emergency, call your national emergency number or go to the nearest hospital directly. Critical vitals recorded on the platform do alert a doctor immediately, but this is not a substitute for emergency care.
Ready to consult a doctor?
Registration takes under two minutes and is free for rural patients.
